Road safety is shaped by everyday choices. The VSMART Driver Code turns the school name into six reminders learners can carry into practice and beyond.
V — Vigilance
Notice what is happening around you. Look ahead, check your surroundings and keep scanning for changes.
S — Safety
Protect every life. Wear your seat belt, follow road rules and leave enough space to react.
M — Mastery
Practice builds skill. Learn each step carefully and keep working on the habits that need attention.
A — Awareness
Read the road. Pay attention to pedestrians, riders, vehicles and conditions around you.
R — Responsibility
Drive with discipline. Make choices that account for other people, not only your own journey.
T — Trust
Serve with integrity. Be honest about your readiness, listen to guidance and ask when something is unclear.
The code reflects VSMART’s promise: Smart Drivers, Safer Roads. Use it as a prompt for discussion with your instructor and as a reminder each time you prepare for a trip.
